I’ve always known I wanted to write for magazines. After graduating as a journalism major in 2008, I took on a role as an editor with a local magazine publisher, where my passion only grew.
Now, nearly 20 years later, I still consider magazine writing to be my first love! Though the industry has shifted to a more digital focus, I still believe you can’t replace the beauty of a print publication (ditto with books).

Because of the nature of my work, there is no “one-size-fits-all” pricing model.
My standard rate is $85 CAD per hour. Please reach out for my project or per-word rates. -

What i love about my job is that I’m constantly learning about and appreciating new topics.
I’m currently writing for clients across a number of industries, from renovations to pet care. If I had to pick a favourite, though, I absolutely love writing about tourism and any lifestyle-related topics!

I typically follow Canadian or American Press styles in my writing, which do not use the Oxford comma (so there!).
Other than in very rare instances where it is required for clarity (or in specific brand guidelines), I find it unnecessary.
